1922 Bugatti Type 29

For the 1922 Grand Prix season the AIACR governing body brought in a 2-litre formula.

Four Bugatti Type 29 cars took part in the French Grand Prix of 1922. The race was won by Felice Nazzaro in a Fiat with Bugattis finishing second, third and fifth. The cars were Bugatti's first attempt at full streamlining and his first racing car to use an eight cylinder engine.
