1922 Bugatti Type 29
For the 1922 Grand Prix season the AIACR governing body brought in a 2-litre formula.
Four Bugatti Type 29 cars took part in the French Grand Prix of 1922. The race was won by Felice Nazzaro in a Fiat with Bugattis finishing second, third and fifth. The cars were Bugatti's first attempt at full streamlining and his first racing car to use an eight cylinder engine.
The model is built to 1/24th scale with a solid wooden body of laminated poplar, painted with Tamiya acrylic lacquer spray in French Blue.
